Rufous Whistler Hailing from Northeast Victoria, AUS (Wiradjuri Country), Rufous Whistler combines raw, heartfelt storytelling with modern arrangements, warm, commanding vocals, and virtuosic musicianship. Their live shows are dynamic and gripping, featuring guitars, fiddles, mandolin, and harmony-rich vocals, all delivered with sharp wit and toe-tapping energy. Lara Rose is a Dunedin-based singer songwriter. She has established her style of indie-folk, using writing to reflect on aspects of her own experiences. Recently, she toured the nation as one half of the folk duo, Tall Folk. In January 2022 they released their debut album ‘Wiser’, recorded at Port Chalmer’s Chick’s Hotel and brought to life by Dunedin’s most talented musicians.
